Parent Toddler

Ages 16 - 24 Months (No Sessions Until Fall 2021)

The overall objective of the Parent Toddler class is to increase parents’ awareness of the various stages of each child’s development, discovering the child’s capabilities and need for independence. You should aim to observe your child in the classroom. take what is learned home with you, and apply these new skills to their personal daily life.

This program is different from playgroups because the emphasis is in both parent education and understanding, and encouraging the child to move towards independence. Children attend with their parents or caregivers starting at age 16 months (if a child turns 2 during the school year, they may finish out the school year in the same Parent/Toddler class before moving into the Toddler program). Classes are 1 hour long, once a week, for eight-week sessions.

Upcoming Sessions

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, our Parent Toddler class will not be in session during the 2020-2021 School Year. Please fill out the Information form (linked below) if you would like to be notified of any Fall 2021 openings.
